Burnaby Golf Festival
Over an exciting 4 days, Golf Burnaby and our partners, British Columbia Golf, will host the Burnaby Golf Festival at Riverway Golf Course and Driving Range! Taking place alongside the BC Amateur Championship from July 13-16, this festival includes public activities like spectator areas, junior clinics, ladies' events, merchandise sales, shotgun play, a KP contest, food trucks and much more! Many activities are free or offered at a affordable festival-rate. Come and celebrate golf and BC's top amateurs!
The Spectator Experience

Watch BC's best amateurs compete at the highest level in our spectator areas! Be part of the action at our dedicated spectator spaces on course, with bleachers at hole 9 and 18. Your registration also gives you 1 free entry into the KP contest, which runs from 11 am-2 pm on July 13-15, with top players invited to the final round on July 16. The Spectator Experience also grants access to onsite restaurants and food trucks.
*On July 15, tournament play ends at approximately 1:30 pm but festival activities as well as food and beverage service will still be available.

1 free contest entry with Spectator Experience registration, $5 for additional contest entries
By registering in the Spectator Experience, you'll also gain 1 free entry to the KP contest! You'll get 1 free turn with 3 balls. For more tries, it's only $5 for an additional 3 balls. Small prizes will be awarded each day to those who hit closest to the pin. Top players from each day will also be entered into the final KP contest on July 16, with a chance to play for a Callaway driver of their choice (must be in stock at Riverway pro shop at time of selection).
Junior/Adult Shotgun Fun Night
July 13, 6 pm-nightfall

$70 + tax (includes junior and adult)
This fun and friendly evening allows a junior (age 10-18) and accompanying adult to play on Riverway's championship course. Perks include light refreshments, green fee, use of power cart (driven by adult) and small gifts and draw prizes. Registration is required.
Women's Beginner Clinic
July 14, 4-5:30 pm
Riverway Driving Range
$35 + tax person (special festival rate)
Learn the game in a supportive and friendly environment at our women's beginner clinic! You'll be introduced to basics like putting, driving and chipping. Afterwards will be an optional Meet & Greet where you'll enjoy light refreshments while meeting other like-minded women.
Women's Shotgun Fun Night

Be part of an unforgettable evening of golf, connection and celebration. Demo PING's new GLE4 clubs, enjoy refreshments at our social hour, and take part in shotgun play at Riverway's championship course. This incredible evening includes green fee, use of power cart, tee gifts, prizes and more!
Club Fitting Day

Learn golf fundamentals, meet other juniors and have fun! These 1 one hour blocks cover golf basics and are perfect for juniors who want an intro to the game.

Registration for the Spectator Experience gives you entry to spectator areas, 1 free entry to the KP contest and access to on-site restaurants and food trucks.

Food trucks
Yo Bones BBQ and Juicy Green Express will be onsite July 13-15 from 12-6 pm, and on July 16 from 11 am-3 pm.
Riverway Clubhouse
Our premier restaurant will be open July 13-16 from 11:30 am-8 pm.
Mulligan's Japanese Kitchen
Dine on Japanese comfort food on July 15-16 from 12 noon-7 pm.
Riverway Bistro
Grab light bites like sandwiches, baked goods and coffee from 7 am-3 pm.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available for sale at Riverway Clubhouse, Mulligan's Japanese Bistro and Riverway Bistro. A beverage cart will also be available in the spectator area on course.
Steamworks will also be hosting samplings at the Clubhouse patio on July 15 from 12-6 pm and on July 16 from noon-3 pm.
Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted at Riverway Golf Course.
Parking at Riverway Golf Course will be very limited due to stalls being reserved for competing amateur golfers and their teams. There will be some overflow parking as well as street parking, but this may also be limited. We strongly encourage you to consider taking public transportation or ride-hailing services like Uber, Lyft or traditional taxis for easy and convenient drop offs.
By registering for the Burnaby Golf Festival, you acknowledge that spectating on an active golf course carries inherent risks, including but not limited to being struck by a golf ball or golf equipment. You voluntarily assume all such risks on behalf of yourself and any minor(s) in your care, and accept full responsibility for their supervision and safety during the event.
