Book a tee time online

Golf Burnaby allows customers to book a tee time up to 30 days in advance*.  If this is your first time booking online, you may be required to set up a new customer profile. For customers who are set up in our system, please use the email you have on file - this way you may be able to avoid the process of player validation at the till.

Tee times are generally available from sunrise to sunset. Availability may be limited due to frost delay, course maintenance, tournaments, leagues, and pre-paid advance group bookings. Tee times may be made through the free Golf Burnaby App or through the Book a Tee Time button on this website. We also hold a limited number of tee times for phone-ins between 12 pm (noon) and 1 pm daily - at which time they are released online to the public.

Early morning lead groups are expected to set the pace of play for the day and complete their round in under 4 hours. During inclement weather in the off season, please confirm your tee time by phone. During winter months, early tee times may be delayed if frost or sub-zero temperatures are an issue. Snowfall may prevent the course from opening.

*Effective May 2024, you may book a tee time online up to 30 days in advance beginning at noon daily. Reservations for same day and up to 4 days in advance (when available) are not subject to booking fees - however, if you wish to book a reservation 5 to 30 days in advance, you will be subject to non-refundable advance booking fees.

Advance booking fees

A non-refundable fee of $5 plus tax per person applies for 5 to 14 day advance bookings and reservations 15 to 30 days in advance are charged a non-refundable fee of $10 plus tax per person. Reservations up to and including 4 days in advance remain free. Advance Booking fees are non-refundable and non-transferable but should you have extenuating circumstances that prevent you from keeping your tee time, we may be able to rebook your reservation on a future date. This can only be done with approval from Management and may require medical documentation. Please ensure you have selected the correct day, time, and course before booking and agreeing to pay for your reservation.

Important Tee time policies

Please note that the person booking the tee time assumes responsibility as 'captain' for the booking and is assumed to be playing, so please be ready at check-in to validate your online reservation with your ID. We will not honour any reservation booked by a third party.

A maximum booking of one tee time (minimum 2 players, maximum 4 players) per person per day is permitted at either Burnaby Mountain or Riverway. In order to be equitable, any additional bookings made on the same date at either golf course will be cancelled. You will also be subject to having your tee time booking privileges suspended and any upcoming reservations cancelled. If you forget your password, please use the reset password feature as all newly created duplicate profiles will be deleted and/or merged.

To qualify for Senior (65 years and up) or Junior (18 years and under) rates, ID is required at check-in unless your email has been registered to a profile that already includes this information.

Tee time cancellation policy

You may cancel, make changes and modifications to your reservation through the Golf Burnaby App or by logging into the tee time booking platform through this website up to 24 hours prior to your reservation. We appreciate as much notice as possible so others may have an opportunity to play.  Groups failing to show up for a tee time without cancelling online or contacting us are subject to the suspension of booking privileges in the future and must pay for the missed tee time to be reinstated. If a member of your party cannot make it, please reduce the player number in your reservation as each person who does not show is assigned a no show under the 'captain' who made the booking. Once a person reaches 5 no shows (one foursome = 4 no shows), booking privileges are automatically suspended through the software and any future tee times will be cancelled. Reinstatement of booking privileges will take place once the missed tee time has been paid for.

If you have difficulty cancelling your reservation online, please contact the pro shop to avoid penalty fees and suspension of booking privileges. Please do not call the pro shop to make changes to online bookings with respect to player names within your reservation - this may be done online, through the App, or by staff when you check in. Thank you.

Raincheck Policy

We do not issue refunds or rainchecks for incomplete green fee rounds. We consider rain to be one of the challenges of the game and a rainy day rarely makes the course unplayable. Please come prepared for rainy conditions and decide if you are willing to play in the likelihood of rain prior to purchasing your green fee ticket. A raincheck will be issued when the golf course has been deemed 'unplayable' by the golf course Superintendent or Manager if conditions are considered to be unsafe due to storm conditions, lightning, or flooding.
