Book a tee time online
Golf Burnaby allows customers to book a tee time up to 30 days in advance. If this is your first time booking online, you may be required to set up a new customer profile. For customers who are set up in our system, please use the email you have on file - this way you may be able to avoid the process of player validation at the till.
Tee times are generally available from sunrise to sunset. Availability may be limited due to frost delay, course maintenance, tournaments, leagues, and pre-paid advance group bookings. Tee times may be made through the free Golf Burnaby App or through our online tee time booking system. We also hold a limited number of tee times for phone-ins between 12 pm (noon) and 1 pm daily - at which time they are released online to the public.
Early morning lead groups are expected to set the pace of play for the day and complete their round in under 4 hours. During inclement weather in the off season, please confirm your tee time by phone. During winter months, early tee times may be delayed if frost or sub-zero temperatures are an issue. Snowfall may prevent the course from opening.
Advance booking fees
A non-refundable fee of $5 plus tax per person applies for 5 to 14 day advance bookings and reservations 15 to 30 days in advance are charged a non-refundable fee of $10 plus tax per person. Reservations up to and including 4 days in advance remain free. Advance Booking fees are non-refundable and non-transferable but should you have extenuating circumstances that prevent you from keeping your tee time, we may be able to rebook your reservation on a future date. This can only be done with approval from management and may require medical documentation. Please ensure you have selected the correct day, time, and course before booking and agreeing to pay for your reservation.
During the winter months you may be delayed due to frost or snow conditions. If you are on a tight schedule and do not wish to be delayed, please consider waiting until closer to the day you wish to play to book your tee time - after you've checked the forecast. We typically have additional availability during the winter months and tee times booked for the same day to 4 days out are not subject to booking fees.
Important tee time policies
Please note that the person booking the tee time assumes responsibility as person for the booking and is assumed to be playing, so please be ready at check-in to validate your online reservation with your ID. We will not honour any reservation booked by a third party.
A maximum booking of one tee time (minimum 2 players, maximum 4 players) per person per day is permitted at either Burnaby Mountain or Riverway. In order to be equitable, any additional bookings made on the same date at either golf course will be cancelled. You will also be subject to having your tee time booking privileges suspended and any upcoming reservations cancelled. If you forget your password, please use the reset password feature as all newly created duplicate profiles will be deleted and/or merged.
To qualify for Senior (65 years and up) or Junior (18 years and under) rates, ID is required at check-in unless your email has been registered to a profile that already includes this information.
Tee time cancellation policy
In consideration of others and to avoid penalty fees, golfers must make every effort to cancel their tee time with advance notice if they are not playing. We ask that you cancel or modify your reservation through the Golf Burnaby App, through this website's booking platform, or by phone prior to 12pm (noon) on the day prior to your reservation. No shows and short notice cancellations are now subject to a $35 cancellation/no show fee per person, having future reservations cancelled, and booking privileges suspended until the fees are paid. Depending on the situation, consideration may be given to cancellations (with over 4 hours notice) when there is a 50% or greater chance of steady/heavy rain forecasted or other extenuating circumstances. If a member of your party cannot make it, please reduce the player number within your reservation as soon as possible as each person who hasn't given adequate notice will be deemed a no show under the person who made the booking. Golfers who consistently fail to cancel or adjust their group's player numbers without adequate notice will be suspended until the fees are paid for. It is not necessary to call the pro shop to make changes to online bookings with respect to player names within your reservation as this may be done online, through the App, or by staff when you check in. Thank you.
Raincheck policy
We do not issue refunds or rainchecks for incomplete green fee rounds. We consider rain to be one of the challenges of the game and a rainy day rarely makes the course unplayable. Please come prepared for rainy conditions and decide if you are willing to play in the likelihood of rain prior to purchasing your green fee ticket. A raincheck will be issued when the golf course has been deemed 'unplayable' by the golf course Superintendent or Manager if conditions are considered to be unsafe due to storm conditions, lightning or flooding.
